Registration for the SaltMech XI conference has begun!

The conference fee includes registration, a copy of the conference proceedings, and the following:

  • Refreshments and snacks.
  • Evening welcome reception (Monday, July 7th)
  • Lunch (Tuesday, July 8th and Wednesday, July 9th )
  • Dinner at the Inn of Loretto (Wednesday, July 9th )

The deadline for registering for the conference is May 31.  Please click the second option (Reg + Field Trip) if interested.  If you anticipate any difficulties in meeting the registration deadline, please contact us at info@saltmech.com.

Please note no registration and payment on-site is possible. On July 7, beginning at 3:00 pm, you can collect your badge, conference package and conference volume in the conference registration area at the hotel.

The registration link for the SaltMech field trip, scheduled for July 11, is now available!  The cost of the field trip is $121.  The field trip (~8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) will cover the geological and cultural history in the region between Santa Fe and Taos. Sites visited will include the Rio Grande Gorge and the Taos Pueblo. A maximum of 50 participants will be allowed. We encourage you to complete your registration at your earliest convenience, but no later than June 9th as we will need to provide final numbers to transportation company.  (The field trip is called a “Networking Event” on the link.)

Conference Dinner

For the conference dinner, we will take a short walk to the Inn at the Loretto Chapel.  The inn itself is beautiful, and it is attached to the Loretto Chapel which is famous for its “miraculous staircase”.  There will be a social hour followed by a wonderful dinner where we can enjoy the sights and smells of New Mexico!
