Please note that all presentations are subject to the Paper Submission Terms and Conditions.
Oral presentation
Oral Presentations should be provided as a PowerPoint presentation or an Adobe Acrobat file (*.PPT, *.PPTX or *.PDF). Oral presentations are limited to 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes of discussion. In order to keep the sessions running on schedule and allow questions from the audience it is very important to keep the presentations within the allotted time. You will be cut short if your presentation exceeds the allotted time.
You can upload your talk from Monday 8.00h until the break immediately prior to the session block your presentation is scheduled for. There is no requirement for a specific template for the preparation of your presentation. For those who would prefer to use a SaltMech XI template, a *.PPT template can be downloaded here.
PICO presentation (“4-min madness”)
Depending on the number of papers submitted, the committee may choose to have some presented as posters. To support the poster presentations, we will have one or two sessions with brief PICO presentations one day in the conference. These PICO presentations consist of 4 minute mini-talks intended to attract attention for the posters on display during the various breaks. There is no requirement for a specific template for the preparation of your PICO presentation, with the exception of the strict time-limit, so please limit to 2-3 slides max. For those who would prefer to use a SaltMech XI template, a *.PPT template can be downloaded here.
Poster presentation
Posters will be on display for the entirety of the conference and can be put up as early as 15.00h on Monday 7 July. Poster boards allow for posters of A0 portrait size. To facilitate the poster session, brief (4 min) PICO presentations by all poster presenters will be given on Wednesday 6 July – see the program. There is no requirement for a specific template for the preparation of your poster. For those who would prefer to use a SaltMech XI template, a *.PPT template can be downloaded here.
